JOB DESCRIPTION

Job-holder is responsible for handling Accounts Payables.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform full spectrum of account payable function
• Perform internet banking & monthly bank reconciliation
• Assist to process suppliers’ invoices including matching of invoices to purchase/delivery orders and cost center allocation
• Prepare accounts payable aging & periodic reconciliation of vendors statement of accounts
• Effectively communicate with internal and external parties with regards to discrepancies and queries on payment status & other issues relating to invoice
• Handle petty cash and monthly staff expenses claim
• Assist in preparation of audit schedules
• Assist in monthly intercompany transactions and balances schedules
• Perform month end closing and ensure its completeness and accuracy
• Support internal & external audit activities as necessary in compliance with Group policies
• Filing of taxes, e.g. Withholding tax if any
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer/Senior Management

A TYPICAL DAY

Things that are being worked on a typical day, including processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, monitoring expenses, and keeping a record of it all for audit and tax purposes. For goods or services received or completed, we will complete the GRN process and prepare relevant documents digitally for payment. Preparing payment to vendors and staff in compliance with financial policies and procedures. There are times we will need to engage in quick short discussions with individuals or a group and be always ready to face an inevitable situation while we are in a school. Hence, one needs to be witted to make a firm decision.

To perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Assistant Accountant (AP) or management. Other daily activities include collaborating with other team members to prepare more effective management reports and maintain compliance with school policies and accounting standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Minimum Degree or Diploma qualification in Accounting
• At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of accounts payable
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures
• Proficient in data entry and management
• Meticulous and organized
• Team player
• Integrity and honesty
• Possess good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work harmoniously with colleagues, students and other customers in a multicultural environment
• Ability to manage time and adhere to deadlines
• Ability to multitask
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP system
• Prior experience using SAP S4HANA

As an Assistant Manager/ Senior Executive, you will provide operational support including project management and administrative support in the areas of customer service, quality and business operations across nursing homes facilities. Your scope includes assistance to craft policies on operational processes, workflow design, data extraction and analysis.

Operations and Service Excellence
