What you will be doing

• Support the S&P brokers by doing Sale & Purchase (S&P) Operations work
• Structure and manage contracts for S&P desk
• Handle invoicing and commission agreements
• Liaise with buyers/sellers or brokers referencing post fixture documents
• Understand the S&P desk’s core client requirements’ and support the broking team when managing clients
• Manage market information from various sources and update the desk database
• Oversee/manage administration work for the S&P desk including coordination of desk operations
• Manage travel, hotel and flight arrangements for the S&P team
• Manage the diary and meetings for the Managing Director of the Singapore office and Managing Director of S&P

What we are looking for

• At least 10 years’ secretarial experience supporting senior management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong team player who can work collaboratively with the S&P brokers
• A flexible and positive attitude
• Able to deliver results and provide excellent service to our clients
• Able to build a strong working relationship with our Singapore and overseas colleagues
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Able to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Polite and friendly telephone manner
• Confident and able to work well under pressure
• Able to multi-task
• Able to produce accurate and high-quality work
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• Knowledge or familiarity with Microsoft Power BI would be a plus
• Flexible about working hours
• Previous exposure to S&P and shipping operations would be an advantage

Job Description:

This is a full time role for a Sea Freight Executive located in ALPS Ave. Our clients are in the Freight Forwarding Industry. You will be responsible for coordinating sea import shipments, managing import/export files, updating shipment statuses, and handling customer notifications. Responsibilities include processing invoices, checking shipment documents, and arranging transportation. You will communicate with clients, agents, and overseas offices, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with company policies.
