Who You Are:

• BA/BS degree, Master degree is a plus
• Strong track record of success driving revenue through prospecting, creating new business and sustainably growing existing business, especially with strategic brands and enterprise customers.
• At least 2 to 6 years proven experience in direct client relationships in online performance media (affiliate, emailing, search etc.)
• Ability to assess and resolve advertiser/agency issues encountered in the role.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills; strong business acumen.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Technical knowledge of site tagging, ad serving and ad ops is a plus.
• Ability to work and deliver strong results in a fast paced, dynamic team environment.
• Good understanding of Southeast Asia business culture and experience working in Southeast Asia.
• Fluency in English and Indonesia Bahasa language are a must, as this candidate will be interacting heavily with clients based in Indonesia

Responsibilities

• Proactively prospect, identify, qualify and develop a sales pipeline
• Close business to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual bookings objectives
• Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities

Requirements

• BA/BS required
• Knowledge of Malay or Bahasa Melayu and an understanding of the cultural nuances of the Malaysia market can be advantageous in supporting business objectives, managing client relationships effectively, and communicating with key stakeholders
• Significant experience in quota-carrying roles within fast-paced and competitive markets, typically 8+ years, with a focus on FSI and Public Sector business in Malaysia.
• Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
• A track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
• Skilled in building business champions and running a complex sales process
• Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
• Familiarity with databases, develops and open source technology a plus
• Driven and competitive: Possess a strong desire to be successful
• Skilled in managing time and resources; sound approach to qualifying opportunities
• Possess aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility. High EQ and self-aware
• Passionate about growing your career in the largest market in software (database) and developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of MongoDB products
