• Coordinate with carriers and forwarders to book container space for shipments, ensuring timely bookings to prevent delays.
• Manage the logistics for import, export, and re-export shipments, liaising with carriers to facilitate smooth operations.
• Monitor the status of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling Arrival Notices, Bills of Lading, Switch BL, and other shipment-related documentation.
• Check Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) on Portnet.
• Arrange shipments with hauliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and send quotations for 3PL services to customers.
• Monitor and manage demurrage, storage, and detention charges, taking proactive steps to minimize costs.

Requirement

• GCE ‘O’ Level / Nitec in Logistics or relevant discipline
• 2 - 3 years of relevant experience with TradeNet and possessing a TradeNet Declarant ID
• Posses experience in ERP systems, particularly in multi-currency and inventory modules will be an added advantage
