Job Purpose

This role will be responsible for servicing one of our key global accounts, where you’ll work with the global GPJ team and a wider agency village to deliver complex experiential markting projects and campaigns across the APAC region. This role requires exceptional communications skills and experience working with internal stakeholders both regionally and globally. Up to 30% travel is required for this role, often at short notice.

To be successful in this role you will have experience successfully managing a retained account within an agency environment. You have the ability to switch from high level strategic thinking, to being hands on, onsite, to ensure the project runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Client / Account Management

• Responsible for retaining and growing the assigned account, you will proactively seek opportunities to do more for our client
• Big picture thinking - You will apply your deep understanding of the client’s needs to help shape smart, relevant & proactive proposals
• Build and maintain effective client relationships, ensuring that all clients’ needs are listened to, understood and responded to in a timely way
• Ensure clear communication to the client regarding roles and responsibilities, scope, budget, schedules and project status/ action items
• Ensure stability of revenues by managing existing projects to ensure client needs are met
• Ensure changes are clearly communicated to client and approved
• Assess performance metrics and provide insights to improve future projects.
• Ownership of overall project success
• Responsible for defining and ensuring clarity of project scope
• Leads weekly client calls, client communications and debrief presentations
• Collates relevant post event data, including clients response on the post event evaluation
• Ensure compliance and championship of internal GPJ processes with internal and external stakeholders

Financial Management

• You will own overall responsibility for account revenue targets
• You will own the accountability for budget reconciliation and project closure within the prescribed timeframe
• You will manage the budget process from a profit generation perspective including expense management, client quoting and profit modelling
• You will manage the budget approval process and receipt of PO
• Provide quarterly reports for both the client and internal stakeholders at a global level
• You stay abreast of client billing escalation issues and ensure they are being resolved

Creative Management

• Collaborate with inter-organisation creative studio(s) to ensure all creative content and agency solutions address the clients needs
• Participate in creative brainstorms to generate ideas for clients

Your Background, Skills & Experience

• Must have experience managing a retained account in an agency environment

• To review, check and verify staff claims so that all the claims are comply with the employee’s handbook guidelines and claims procedures
• Perform data entry of vendors invoice documents into the accounting system
• Assist on ad-hoc duties assigned by Superior

• Diploma or Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent with at least 1years of experience in related field.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment to meet tight deadlines.
