Work Arrangement

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly billing and collection of school fees, handle government subsidies, and manage operational expenses.
• Establish new accounts for student enrollments in the accounting system.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and government subsidies.
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings, annual tax returns, and manage tax credits. Handle claims or grants from government agencies.
• Review and process the monthly payroll.
• Assist in preparing and submitting annual financial statements. Manage other accounting-related functions and address regulatory compliance issues.
• Obtain quotes from vendors and coordinate maintenance issues.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Minimum diploma in accounting/finance related field or equivalent
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of accounting experience

Responsibilities for the Account and Admin Executive position

• Handle the closing of accounts and prepare full sets of accounts within deadlines.

• Provides timely and accurate reporting of monthly management accounts, investigating variances, correcting errors where necessary, prepare Balance Sheet, income statement, GL

• Perform data entry for purchasing invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.

• Raise payment vouchers and journal vouchers for various disbursements for approval.

• Process claims and address billing issues.

• Monitor monthly cash flows.

• Reconcile all bank accounts monthly.

• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and ensure alignment with the general ledger.

• Raise debit/credit notes for related party payments.

• Prepare and submit quarterly GST

• Assist in preparing documentation for external audits and tax consultants

• Liaise with external parties such as vendors, landlords, banks, auditors, and statutory/regulatory authorities.

Requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in handling full sets of accounts.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel. MYOB knowledge will be an advantage.

HR Responsibilities:

• Assist with foreign employee work pass applications and renewal

• Assist on foreign employee income tax payment

• Assist with preparation and issuance of Appointment Letters

• Prepare monthly payroll, payment and payslips

• Employee leave and public holidays recording

Administrative Responsibilities:

• General administrative duties
