Job Description

Account

• Handle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions including daily receipts journal (from bank statement and drivers)
• Oversee logistics arrangement and back up of Admin Assistant roles
• Checking on payment submission from salesperson and cash receipt journal entry
• Sales order and CN posting; PO releasing
• Matching and checking of vendors’ invoices; ensure all invoices are supported with appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Perform month end closing activities such as bank reconciliation, prepayment & accruals schedules, vendor ageing report, etc
• Prepare Debit Note
• Process Staff Petty Cash
• Ensure proper recording and filling of customers’ and vendors’ invoices
• Compile Sales and Inventory Reports (APNS - weekly basis)
• Compile Sales Report (CCFI - monthly basis)

Operation

• Handle PO processing of internal and external requisition
• Check invoices and delivery orders to ensure payment are correctly made
• Work closely with warehouse supervisor on stock discrepancy issues / goods receiving or transfer within warehouse
• Any other additional task as required by the Management

Key Responsibilities

• You have the ownership and responsibility of driving assigned Strategic Client’s performances.

• Work together with Head of Strategic Account Team and Trade Team, to develop strategies and growth plans.

• Preparation of key business quotations, bid submission and daily business coordination across Fareast agencies.

• Recommend service enhancements and/or service deficiencies to enhance service capabilities.

• Work with relevant internal stakeholders to upkeep service line agreements with clients.

• Actively using Microsoft power bi tools or/an analytical tool to monitor performances and business expectations.

• Prepare and present business propositions.

• Participate in follow-up meetings on business commitment and quarterly review with Regional Strategic clients.

• Preparing, maintaining and distribution of service contracts and FMC Filing (USA trade).

• Achieve volume fulfillment targets set by management.

Who We Are Looking For

• Minimum Degree qualified, preferably in the field of Maritime or Logistic and Supply Chain.

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Points and Power BI).

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks that are more critical.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work under stress and tight timelines.

• Meticulous and detail oriented.

• Believer in teamwork.

Job Scope:

• General admin tasks within the finance department
• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including data entry into the system
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with accepted accounting principles
• Assist in office administrative matters
• Maintain a proper filing system, documentation, and database
• Assist in other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the immediate superior

Requirements:

• Preferably with accounting and admin experience
• Good organizational skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, perform the core job duties accurately, and prioritize and deliver within tight deadlines
• Full-time position (5.5 working days)
