Job Description:

This is a full time role for an Account Admin located in Tuas. Our client is a reputable waste management and recycling company in Singapore, dedicated to providing sustainable solutions for waste disposal. The role involves managing financial data entry, processing invoices, monitoring and following up on outstanding accounts receivable payments, and preparing monthly bank reconciliations. It also includes assisting in the preparation of financial statements and performing other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

• Minimum GCE O-level with accounting knowledge.
• Minimum 1 year working relevant experience.

Location: Jurong Island (Company Transport Pickup at Jurong East MRT)

•  Assume entire role of GL, AP & AR, including maintaining fixed assets register
•  Perform monthly closing activities
•  Prepare monthly management reports
•  Coordinate annual physical stock take and prepare reconciliation
•  Monitor and plan for day-to-day operating cashflow
•  Process suppliers’ invoice and staff claim
•  Prepare reporting pack for HQ consolidation requirement on quarterly basis
•  Prepare and submit GST to the government authorities
•  Prepare audit schedules
•  Liaise with tax agent for annual tax filing
•  Any other duties as assigned by supervisors such as filing with government agencies

Job Requirements

• Diploma in accountancy, LCCI, CAT or its equivalent

Job Responsibilities

• Upkeep of Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Module
• Ensure timeliness in payment / collection to vendors / customers
• Issuance of Debit and Credit Notes
• Maintain petty cash vouchers and preparation of expenses claim and record transactions into accounting system
• Arranging payment to suppliers
• Reconciliation of suppliers’ statement of accounts
• To assist GST submission quarterly and reconciliation between accounting system and IRAS/Custom to meet MES compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned
