Job Description:

This is a full time role for a Junior Account Assistant located in Tuas. Our client is a reputable waste management and recycling company in Singapore, dedicated to providing sustainable solutions for waste disposal. The role involves managing financial data entry, processing invoices, monitoring and following up on outstanding accounts receivable payments, and preparing monthly bank reconciliations. It also includes assisting in the preparation of financial statements and performing other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

• Minimum GCE O-level with accounting knowledge.
• Minimum 1 year working relevant experience.

Location: Raffles Place

• Verify invoices and process payments accurately and on time.
• Ensure proper authorization and allocation to correct budgets.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve queries.
• Keep organized records (both hard copy and electronic).
• Process employee expense claims and petty cash reimbursements.
• Prepare monthly expense reports for stakeholders.
• Assist with month-end accounting, reports, and reconciliations.
• Handle ad-hoc finance tasks as needed.
