Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting activities, including preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing of accounts
• Prepare and file corporate tax returns and other tax-related documents in compliance with local tax laws
• Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and liaise with external tax agents for any tax issues
• Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and in compliance with accounting standards
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Manage and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Prepare and process payments, monitor outstanding invoices, and follow up with clients or vendors as necessary
• Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and provide required documentation and schedules
• Provide financial analysis and management reports to assist in decision-making
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and offer insights to improve the company's financial performance
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountingor a related field
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations
• Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, etc.) and Excel
• ACCA certification is preferred
