Key Responsibilities

Role Purpose
1. Conduct Customer pricing analysis for country requests regarding special rates.
2. Create Non-Standard Rate Cards (Custom PIDs) for special rates in GRE.
3. Support the collection and/or review of existing or proposed customer rate cards in countries.
4. Coordinate work balance among the Key Account Pricing Team.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

1. Conduct Customer pricing analysis for country requests regarding special rates
   - Assess customer analysis requests from country pricing teams and ensure input information and strategy are complete.
   - Extract data for existing customer business in place and prepare respective customer pricing analysis reports.
   - Simulate and analyze entire customer business with existing and potential volumes using up-to-date pricing tools and systems.
   - Generate accurate Customer Pricing Reports for responding to countries’ requests (including, but not limited to, the GRE Pricing comments/ recommendations, overall opportunity snap-shot, detailed analysis by product, lane and weight breaks, etc.).
   - Ensure documentation of customer price analysis and reports according to standards.
   - Where required, support the regional process for any Key Account pricing that is eligible for regional review.
   - Maintain record keeping of statistics to support KAP process measurement including tracking of number of requests by country, turn-around time (TAT), requests outside of agreed SLA, etc.

2. Create Non-Standard Rate Cards (Custom PIDs) for special rates in GRE.
   - Create rate cards from scratch as needed and/or PIDs in the GRE system based on the country pricing team’s input.
   - Where required, interpret overall country requests for price levels and translate these into specific target prices in Custom PIDs whilst ensuring that guidelines on minimum price levels, discounting, and GPP are followed.
   - Ensure PIDs are fully GRE compliant.
   - Included in this is the creation of PIDs for Global Customers from the Global Customers Alignment (GCA) team.
   - Train new colleagues on the day-to-day job and perform audits on the work done by other colleagues.
   - Deactivate outdated customized PIDs.
   - Maintain non-standard fuel surcharge for Global Customers.
   - Get involved in GRE deployment to support the creation of customized PIDs during the rating freeze period.
   - Support GRE countries in escalating system issues.
3. GPI for GRE countries
   - Execute Annual GPI for GRE countries.
   - Execute Off-cycle GPI for GRE countries.
4. Support with the collection and/or review of existing or proposed customer rate cards in countries
   - Contact countries to gather existing customer rate cards.
   - Consolidate customer rate cards, review, validate, and convert to a global standard format as needed.
5. Coordinate work balance among the Key Account Pricing Team
   - First point of contact for the different stakeholders/business partners.
   - Manage the audits which have to be done on the work performed by other KAP team members.
   - Train and coach colleagues in difficult situations and with difficult requests.

Requirements:

1. Prepare month end closing of accounts, audit schedule, inter- company reconciliations, statutory and management reporting.
2. Checking and verifying of supporting documents for payment to be made.
3. Liaise and interact with suppliers and performing day to day financial accounting functions.
4. Prepare the remittance, FAST payment via online banking system and cheque payment.
5. Compile the relevant business documentation used in banking processes.
6. Enter accurate and timely data into the accounting system.
7. Maintain accurate financial records and statements.
8. Record and process all business transactions within the organisation's accounting using principles of double-entry accounting.
9. Record transactions and events relating to inventory, accruals, prepayments, capital structure and finance costs.
10. Record transactions and events relating to sales, purchases, receivables, payables and cash.
11. Retrieve system reports from the accounting system for management use.
12. Perform ad-hoc duties and any administrative task as and when required.

Job Scope

· Process payroll transaction, calculate staff & general worker’s overtime, and CPF submission.

· Maintain employee annual leave database and process petty cash.

· Prepare employment contracts, KETS (for staff), letters of appointment, and confirmation/ termination letter.

· Prepare job description, post job ads and source for suitable candidates.

· Proper filling for all the invoices and payment vouchers.

· Submission of year-end IR8A and IR21.

· Updating MOM Labour Survey and Occupational Employment Dataset (OED).

· Assist in ISO & GGBS Renewal & Surveillance Audit, BCA registration renewal, GeBiz renewal and BizSafe Renewal.

· Submission of application/ renewal for the Contractor Registration and Builder License under eBACS.

· Compile the relevant business documentation used in banking process.

· Maintain accurate financial records and statements.

· Record transactions and events relating to sales, purchases, receivables, payables and cash.

· Issuing and process payment vouchers

· Preparation and monitor weekly/ daily cash flow.

· Coordinate and liaise with insurance for Performance Bond / Advance Payment Bond matters.

· Coordinate and liaise with insurance agent for Foreign Workers Hospitalisation Insurance renewal, WICA renewal and Machinery Insurance.

· Coordinate with valuer for the machinery valuation matter.

· Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirement

*Education: A certificate, diploma, or higher qualification in accounting, administration, or a related field

*Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the internet, and the ability to use accounting software like MYOB

*Experience: At least two years of relevant work experience
