We are seeking a skilled and motivated Account Executive to join our dynamic team. The role involves managing and growing a portfolio of financial lines clients, providing tailored insurance solutions, and delivering exceptional service to meet client needs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial lines products such as Directors & Officers (D&O), Errors & Omissions (E&O), Professional Indemnity, and Cyber Insurance.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
· Client Relationship Management:
o Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
o Understand clients’ insurance needs and provide bespoke financial lines solutions.
· Policy Placement and Management:
o Negotiate terms and coverage with underwriters.
o Secure competitive and comprehensive insurance policies for clients.
o Manage renewals, endorsements, and policy adjustments.
· Market Expertise:
o Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments.
o Advise clients on risk management strategies and emerging risks in financial lines.
· Business Development:
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the financial lines segment.
o Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
· Collaboration:
o Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
o Collaborate with claims specialists to support clients during claims processes.
· Compliance:
o Ensure all activities comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
Functional & Behavioural Competencies required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in insurance brokerage, specifically in financial lines.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ACII, ANZIIF) are a plus.
