General Overview

This position reports to Supervisor (Marine Operations) and assisting him/her in ensuring safe, reliable and efficient ship-shore operations, inclusive of interfaces activities for JTJ, STS & FSRU and FSU services.

The incumbent will oversee the maintenance of marine equipment, monitoring the contractors appointed for marine activities and screen LNG ship for SLNG’s acceptance prior to ship arrival.

Roles and ResponsibilIties

In 2021, Enterprise Singapore, the national standards body for Singapore, had appointed ERI@N as a Standards Development Organisation (SDO) to develop and promote standards under the Electrical and Electronic Standards Committee. This includes standards supporting emerging areas such as renewables -offshore wind/marine & solar energy, secondary batteries and cells, solid state transformers, electrical energy storage systems, and smart grids. We also work with regulators and the industry on standards for electrical installations, building & services and safety and effectiveness of electrical products and services.

We are looking for a passionate Project Manager to support the work of the SDO.

Core expertise:

Project management responsibilities include managing the identification, development and promotion of standards meeting key requirements set by Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG). These include supporting standards committees under the management of ERI@N in their standard development and promotion work to ensure timely and successful delivery of new and reviewed standards. Singapore Phenome Centre (SPC) aims to deliver world-class metabolic phenotyping services to NTU's scientific community, Singapore's researchers and industries in Singapore and beyond. The Scientific Officer is responsible for conducting analytical experiments and assisting with administration duties in SPC.

Responsibilities:

• Metabolite extraction from clinical and environmental samples
• Operate UPLC-QTOF, UPLC-TQ and NMR for metabolomics using standard operation protocol
• Report the results internally with the centre and department
• Assisting with various projects and operation of the centre
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Candidates should have a degree in Chemistry

The Qiao lab in the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) is currently looking for a talented and highly motivated Project Officer to join our team to study the chemistry basis of microbiota-host interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing LC-HRMS/MS analysis of gut microbiota-derived metabolites quantification and profiling
• Performing cell-based assays to study the immuno-stimulatory effects of the target metabolites
• Performing animal models such as DSS-induced colitis to study in vivo effects of the target metabolites

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Biology or equivalent, must have at least one year of relevant research experience.
• Has strong grasp of understanding in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology and/or immunology.
• Must be able to perform molecular biology and protein biochemistry experiments, including cloning, protein overexpression, and purification etc.
