The Climate Transformation Programme (CTP) aims to develop, inspire and accelerate knowledge-based solutions and educate future leaders to establish the stable climate and environment necessary for resilient, just, and sustainable Southeast Asian societies.

CTP will generate knowledge and innovation across disciplines including climate and Earth science, ecology, materials science, artificial intelligence, humanities, social sciences and the arts, finance, health, and engineering. The Lead Technical Officer for Electric Vehicle (EV) Buses will oversee the technical aspects of the development, deployment, and maintenance of electric bus systems. • IT/Network/Server knowledge is a plus.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• To perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act.

• To supervise the timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents, and site instructions.

• To check all drawings and specifications to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans for discrepancies and report to the Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person as stated below:

• Check shop drawings submitted by contractor.

• Check as-built drawings and Operation & Maintenance Manual submitted by contractor.

• To check on quality of materials and samples delivered to site and report to Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person on any materials that are not conforming to the specifications.

• To check mock-ups done on site, where necessary.

• To ensure that the required construction tests in connection with the construction works are carried out where necessary.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution or relevant qualifications.

* Minimum ten(10) years of relevant experience as a mechanical and electrical engineer, of which at least three (5) years shall be in supervision of works similar in nature to major construction works in buildings, plumbing/Sanitary Experiance.
