Activities Relating To Main Tasks:

1. Client Relationship Management

· Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring their satisfaction and maintaining a positive relationship.

· Act as the liaison between the client and internal teams (e.g., commercial group, project/engineering group, business support group, operation group).

· Understand clients' business needs and objectives, and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.

2. Account Growth & Retention

· Identify opportunities for account growth by understanding client needs and proposing new services, products, or solutions.

3. Coordinate with Internal Teams

· Coordinate with commercial team on the submission of proposal or tender to clients, ensuring deadlines are met and expectations are exceeded.

· Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., project engineering group / operation group) to ensure smooth delivery and execution of client requests.

· Ensure all contractual obligations to client are met or exceeded.

· Coordinate all information / inquiries with internal teams to ensure all resources are available to meet demand.

4. Marketing, Sales Support and Upselling

· Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services or products to clients.

· Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations to clients, collaborating with the sales team where necessary.

· Negotiate contract terms & conditions and pricing adjustments as required.

· Promote IKM brand awareness to clients, by online media and offline events.

5. Reporting & Account Administration

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, including contracts, meeting notes, and communications.

· Acquisition and reporting of market survey information, and project forecast.

· Provide weekly account status updates to clients and internal stakeholders, reporting on account health, project progress, and any issues or concerns.

· Monitor client satisfaction through feedback surveys or direct communication, and implement improvements as needed.

· Participate in weekly sales meetings for IKM Testing.

6. Problem Resolution

· Proactively address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients in a timely and professional manner.

· Work closely with project or technical teams to ensure that problems are addressed quickly, and solutions are implemented efficiently.

The Global Account Representative (GAR) is responsible managing customer relationships with global strategic accounts based in Singapore. • Represent foodpanda as an ambassador for our strategic partners, possessing holistic knowledge of the entire delivery business
• Build yearly business plans incorporating the growth strategies of both foodpanda and our partners
• Conduct data analysis, reporting, operational and invoicing resolutions
• Understand the issues faced by our strategic partners and execute scalable solutions
• Clearly communicate monthly/quarterly initiatives
• Ensure timely and successful delivery of foodpanda’s solutions in line with the partner’s needs and objectives

Sales & Marketing

• Educate partners on the foodpanda marketing suite to grow on the foodpanda platform
• Exponentially grow the commercial revenue of your partner portfolio through the selling of platform growth tools
• Work with foodpanda’s Commercial and Marketing teams to implement and scale marketing campaigns

Operations

• Work with foodpanda’s Commercial and Operations teams to analyse partner operational metrics and pre-empt problem areas
• Utilize data to identify opportunities for growth through operational best practices

Inter-departmental Projects

• As part of a fast-growing and highly agile industry, expect to be given opportunities to participate in the execution of high-impact projects in support of the larger foodpanda business

We’re now looking for an experienced Account Director to join our Asia Tech x Singapore (ATxSG) team.

This is an individual contributor role accountable for driving event and digital sales by maximising the current event proposition while building on new features and activations. With a focus on consistent retention, growth, new business, product development, and expanding customer base, this is a great role for someone looking to really make an impact.  

Key areas of responsibility

• You will be delivering an exceptional experience for Asia Tech x Singapore partners, sponsors and exhibitors
• Full customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximise profit
• Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts
• You'll build and execute a retention and new business development strategy to grow and expand within new and existing cutomers including upselling and cross-selling
• Achieving revenue targets, proactively responding to inbound enquiries and self-generated leads based on a deep market and product understanding
• Accurately positioning Asia Tech's products, solutions and services as a solution for the market and business challenges that meet the customers needs
• Report using all data sources, accurate forecasting and performance metrics to key internal and external stakeholders, highlighting revenue risks and opportunities
• Manage projects and engage in project management duties within customer relationships working to carry out and deliver customer goals while meeting company goals
• Coordinate with colleagues working on the same account to ensure consistent service
• Service multiple clients concurrently, meeting and exceeding deadlines
• Keep customer information/records up to date such as interactions, transactions, account plans and record on Salesforce
• Build a social media presence through social selling
• Liaise with colleagues to keep your knowledge of new and existing products, services and solutions up to date
• Proactively develop yourself, keep abreast of the changing landscape and have a personal development plan utilising the Sales Excellence competencies
• Keep up to date with current market conditions and competitors' products
• Attend key Informa and industry related competitor events
• Represent the brand as a champion leading from the front
• Work on projects across the business as and when required
