Overall Role Purpose:

Job Description

• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Maintaining historical records
• Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing pay checks
• Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit
• Responding to vendor enquiries regarding finance
• Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
• Continuing to improve the payment process

Job Description:

• High volume data entry into accounting system.
• Handle and maintain full sets of accounts, which include Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, and day-to-day function of accounts activities.
• Assist in month-end closing and reconciliations.
• Timely preparation of monthly financial reports.
• Maintain proper filing of documents.
• Assist in audits.
• Any other duties assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate with Diploma/Professional Certificate in Accounting or related function preferred
• Prior accounting experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of MYOB highly advantageous.
• Meticulous, organized, and have a keen eye for details.
• Able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
