The Role

This is a good opportunity for an experienced Structural RTO to represent Cundall onsite for one of Singapore projects. This will be a 9-months contract based role commencing in April 2025 with an opportunity for extension if required by project. Location is based in the west of Singapore. The main responsibilities are:

• To coordinate and to supervise the whole construction works of the Contractor on site and to agree on the detailed programme of work.

• To assist the QS in the valuation of works done for the purpose of valuation of the progress of works and for the purpose of progress payment if required.
• To act as a channel for all claims and disputes and to provide the facts which are relevant.
• To familiarize himself with and where necessary bring to the notice of the Contractor, the need for inspections, certification etc. by the Client Department, municipal council, local or state or other authorities having jurisdiction over the project.
• To foster efficient organisation and good relations on the job and suggest and report on any matter likely to assist in achieving these. The RTO shall also observe and report on the general co-ordination, standard and progress of the works.
• After the completion of structural works by the Contractor, RTO shall verify that all constructed works are in accordance with approved authority drawings prior to authority inspections, and ensure that the finished works are free from defects and are functioning to its intended specifications.

The Skills

-Able to commit to the project commencing in April 2025.

-With minimum 6 years of site experience in the supervision of construction works (including both steelworks and reinforced concrete works).

-Must be an IES/ACES accredited Registered Resident Technical Officer.

-Given the collaborative and client focussed nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
