• Prepare and present periodic financial statements, budgets and financial reports to the management team and key stakeholders
• Review of the related companies accounts, reporting, intercompany transactions and payments
• Manage working capital to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs
• Responsible for the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
• Oversee the annual external audit cycle of the companies and ensure that all statutory requirements are timely met
• Be the liaison with auditors, tax agents, bankers and corporate secretarial agent
• Manage the payroll and incentive functions of the company, including computing or checking of internal and contract staff payroll and incentives, all CPF and IR8A related matters and submissions;
• Key member in the companies’ process improvements project to streamline and auto-mate manual processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations and strengthen internal controls.
• Ad-hoc duties/projects as assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy with Professional Accreditation (CA/CPA)
• Min 6 years of experience, with a good mix of commercial accounting and audit experience from CPA firms
• Prior experience in using YonYou ERP systems preferred
• Good technical knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, transfer pricing and statutory requirements
• Independent, adaptable and able to work in a dynamic environment

Senior Accounts Executive

Salary range: $3300 to $4000
Working hours: Mon – Fri, 8:30am – 10am to 5pm – 6pm(flexible) 7.5 hours/day

Job Responsibilities：

• Work with the team to ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to management
• Liaise with Japan HQ for accounts-related matters
• Assist Manager in financial analysis, reporting and consolidation
• Prepare monthly costing and accounting records for mobile games in-app sales (Google and Apple), including adjustment of deferred revenue from unutilized mobile game currency
• Prepare Mobile royalty/sales report for licensors
• Ensure calculations for Google and Apple sales report are up to date with the latest changes in tax and charges
• Review and discuss accounting treatment on new products / current procedures with Manager
• Keep track of accruals and prepayments
• Review local and overseas payments and records
• Prepare and compute S45 withholding tax
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and perform monthly intercompany reconciliation
• Coordinate and liaise with auditor / tax agent / IRAS / any external parties whenever required
• Compute monthly average exchange rates for accounts and other departments’ use
• Constantly adapting to review and improve internal control and workflow

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Accountancy or Finance
• Min 3 years of relevant working experience
• Well-versed in MS Office, especially in Microsoft Excel(able to do pivot table, Vlookup)
• Possess General Ledger (GL) skills, knows how to handle double journal entries etc.
• Hand-on experience with Oracle NetSuite system would be advantageous
