Job description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate preparation of accounts, financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, human resource, administration matters and conducting internal cyclical audits. Your primary goal will be to contribute to our organization's quality accounting and financial reporting standards. Moreover, the candidate must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Strong business acumen would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
● Reach out to various personnel in the Group Companies to collect and record quality accounting and financial information
● Liaise with relevant parties like customers & suppliers for AR/AP functions
● Ensure timely and accurate preparation of Full-Set Accounts and Management Reports
● Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annual accounts
● Serve various subsidiaries and entities within the Group
● Create quality management reports to facilitate monitoring and effective business decision making
● Responsible for management of Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable and Cash Management
● Maintaining schedules of assets relating to fund management and activities within the group
● Prepare tax documents
● Compile and analyze financial statements and recommend appropriate actions to be taken
● Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts in parts and whole for various business segments
● Assist in preparation of materials for fund raising, rights-issue, and placement exercise
● Prepare matters relating to Human Resource and Administration as well as compliance with MOM guidelines
● Constantly improve reporting standards by getting feedback from relevant staff and management
● Risk Management and Internal Controls
Requirements:
● 1 - 2 years' of Bookkeeping, Accounts and Admin experience
● Interns and/or Fresh Graduates are also welcomed to apply
● Able to prepare full set of accounts
● Accounting Qualifications from Reputable Body or University
● Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
● Ability to prepare Management reports to ensure that any adverse situation may be pre-empted and allow for sufficient time to avoid any serious consequences
● Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
● HR , Administration and Organizational skills
● Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
● Familiar with SOPs and ISO reporting standards would be an advantage
● Strong spoken and written Mandarin and English is a must
● Demonstrate much initiative and little supervision necessary
● Attention to details, highly organised, meticulous and reliable
