Your responsibilities include ensuring accurate and compliant monthly financial reporting, maintaining Journal Entries and the General Ledger for specific entities, overseeing daily accounting functions at headquarters, verifying payments and Journal Entries posted by Accounts Assistants. You will collaborate on cashflow reports with the Treasury Director, manage quarterly GST returns, provide the Tax Director and tax agents support for tax-related matters. The role holder, reporting to the Financial Controller, leads the full spectrum of Finance of the Mini business unit of the company, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, project management, property management, tax planning, corporate governance and treasury matters, in compliance with Financial Reporting Standards and Group accounting policies.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards and group guidelines.

• Monitoring and analysis of monthly reporting results against Budget / Forecast / Prior Year.

• Planning and management of Budget and Forecasting

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess The Following

Qualification and Experience

• Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or CPA with at least 5 years of relevant experience, of which 3 years are in a leadership role.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong IFRS acumen and understanding of financial & tax reporting.

• Good analytical skills with a keen eye for details and desire to probe further into data.

• Effective communication skills – both written and verbal.

• Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships.

• Ability to multi-task work and adhere to datelines.

• Independent yet a collaborator, meticulous and hands-on with demonstrated maturity.

Responsibilities:

· Hands-on in preparation of financial reports in compliances with the Group and Company policies and SFRS standards.

· Overall, in-charge of full set of books bookkeeping which include GL, AP & AR related matters.

· Perform revenue and cost recognition according to SFRS115 accounting standard

· Coordinate closely with the sales, project, and operations teams to maintain up-to-date project statuses. Ensure timely updates to project-related schedules, including contract assets, contract liabilities, and project job costing, in preparation for review.

· Provide support on credit control and AR collections related functions.

· To support the company on the financial reporting and tax filing related matters

· Handle internal and external statutory audit related matters, preparation of statutory accounts.

· To assist the Finance & Operations team on any ad hoc task as assigned by the company.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree/ Post Graduate, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent Holding a CPA qualification will be an advantage.

· Strong in SFRS or IFRS knowledge and able to work in tight dateline environment.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Application especially in MS-Excel & MS-Word.

· Meticulous, organized and ability to handle multi-task in a dynamic/fast-paced environment.
