The Job

• Monthly and quarter close support
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Prepare quarterly schedules for external audit
• Perform balance sheet review activities
• Provide internal audit, external audit, SOX support
• Identify areas of process improvements in core areas of responsibility

• Assist in preparation of quarterly forecast
• Preparation of GST submission to IRAS
• Preparation of audit schedules
• Preparation of creditor statement reconciliation
• Other Finance and Accounting activities as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with 3-4 years experiences in Accounting
• Handle Full Set of Accounts with minimal supervision
• Proficient with MS Office especially Excel such as Xlookup, Pivot Table
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (Globe 3)
• Applicants with experience in the Shipping / Marine industry is an added advantage
• Meticulous, possess good interpersonal skills and a team player

Job Scope

Accounts Payable

• Process trade and non-trade vendor invoices.

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payment to vendors.

• Provide weekly Cash payment forecast for corporate submission.

• Liaise with internal and external parties to resolve invoice discrepancies.

• Perform vendor information verification for banking details and timely update in records.

• Verify and reconcile Suppliers’ statements to our system.

• Handle vendor audit confirmations.

• Support quarterly SOX audit and external audit requirements.

• Support any other ad-hoc assignments or project.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, Business Finance or equivalent preferred.

• Preferable with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in a dynamic environment.

• Proficient in MS Office and knowledge of Oracle accounting software

The Company
Our client is an established F&B brand with stable growth and global presence across Asia, ANZ, US and Middle East. With Singapore being their global headquarter, they are partnering with us to look for a hands-on Financial Accountant to overlook the regional consolidation and tax matters for the region.

The Role
Reporting to Regional Finance Controller, this role will play key role in managing the regional consolidation of subsidiaries and entities for the group and report to senior management team. You will also be involved in tax support and advise on tranfer pricing matters in the region. Additionally, you will also take part in continuous process improvement and ad-hoc projects such as new system implementation.

Your Profile
To be a successful candidate, you must have:

• Degree in Accounting or ACCA qualified
• At least 5 years of audit or commercial consolidation exposure.
• Experience with F&B or inventory related industry is highly preferred.
• Additionally, u must be a detailed orient, inquisitive who demonstrate effective communication skills to liaise with multinational stakeholders.
• SAP system knowledge will be additional bonus.
