About the role

We are inviting a self-driven individual to lead and manage a full fledge of accounting and finance activities for a client’s portfolio. Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Team Lead or Directors, understanding the business models of each assigned clients to act as an advisor, the duties and responsibilities are:

Job Description:

• Manage the financial and statutory accounting for entity assigned.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, such as managing asset accounting, creating journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating year-end financial reports.
• Prepare WIP and provide recommendation on project profitability and cost optimisation.
• Compute key financial indicators and provide trend analysis of financials.
• Involve in the preparation of group budgets and forecasts.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors for filing on time.
• Handle tax matters including the quarterly GST filing and corporate tax.
• Ad-hoc duties assigned and this may include review of policies and procedure.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in construction
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Meticulous and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Responsible for full spectrum of accounting functions including subsidiaries.
• Perform month-end closing activities which include general ledger, posting of journals, inventories count reconciliation, balance sheet schedule and fixed assets schedule.
• Assist in GST/VAT report submission and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare and handle monthly reporting pack for group submission.
• Preparation of audit schedules and liaison with external auditors.
• Oversee and provide guidance to accounting team in operational financial matters.
• Participate in system enhancements / implementations.
• Support the necessary overseas expansion finance requirement, if needed
• Involve in ad hoc duties as and when assigned

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Finance/Accounting or relevant Professional Accounting Qualification.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in this role.
• Experience in using Microsoft Business Central system/ NAVISION is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot table, VLOOKUP, Macros is an advantage).
• Experience with audit background and/or F&B and handling overseas accounts is an advantage.
• Ability to work with people in different levels of the organization.
• Meticulous and keen eye for details; strong financial analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Committed, confident personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintaining a full set of accounts with banks, payables, joint ventures, properties, projects and consolidated financial reporting.
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary and other external parties
• Monitoring budget, cash flow, foreign exchange and projections.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements of the companies in the Family Office including management reporting.
• Maintain filing and record keeping of manual and electronic documents which should be efficient, intuitive, logical, secure, and user friendly.

• Liaise with service providers on office administrative and/or maintenance matters.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Accountancy or professional accounting qualification, with working knowledge of Singapore FRS / IFRS standards.
• Minimum 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required, preferably having exposure to a wide range of global investment activities.

Job Responsibilities

The role holder, reporting to the Financial Controller, leads the full spectrum of Finance of the Mini business unit of the company, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, project management, property management, tax planning, corporate governance and treasury matters, in compliance with Financial Reporting Standards and Group accounting policies.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards and group guidelines.

• Monitoring and analysis of monthly reporting results against Budget / Forecast / Prior Year.

• Planning and management of Budget and Forecasting

• Preparation of quarterly GST submissions and annual corporate income tax filings with IRAS.

• Preparation of commission / incentives payout and computation of staff car benefits.

• Monitoring of company's treasury arrangements, cash flow position and prepare cash management plan.

• Conduct annual / periodic stock take and assets verifications.

• Business partnering with the Heads of Departments and their teams to help improve business performance and optimize costs.

• Liaising with internal and external auditors, tax agents and corporate secretary to ensure timely completion of audits, tax filing, accounts and corporate matters.

• Identifying process improvements and enhancements in internal controls and data automation.

• Assist in the evaluation of new business proposals and preparation of business plans.

• Manage, supervise and counselling of the Finance team on work performance, expectations and training.

• Property assets management.

• Handle any ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned by Management.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess The Following

Qualification and Experience

• Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or CPA with at least 5 years of relevant experience, of which 3 years are in a leadership role.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong IFRS acumen and understanding of financial & tax reporting.

• Good analytical skills with a keen eye for details and desire to probe further into data.

• Effective communication skills – both written and verbal.

• Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Preparation of monthly reports, annual operating and capital budgets for the Territory
2. Involve in the day-to-day finance operations of the Territorial Headquarters
3. Analyse variance between budget and actual results
4. Analyse trends, possible improvements, areas of risks, financing and any key issues relating to the business and provide recommendation for improvements
5. Monitor risks that could threaten liquidity of the organisation and risk management control
6. Review and assess the audit findings from the auditors, ensuring that all exceptions and issues are addressed accurately by the appropriate finance and accounting staff members
7. Provide feedback and recommendation to management regarding utilization of financial data.
8. Maintain the chart of accounts
9. Evaluate the accounting and internal control systems throughout the Territory, offering recommendations
10. Review the completeness of the financial accounts and cost accounting
11. Ensure compliance with organisation policies, boards, councils' decisions and government statutory legislations

1. Degree in Accountancy with ACCA/CPA or other professional accounting qualifications
2. At least 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably from the social services background.
3. Good knowledge and familiar with ERP software is a plus
4. Able to work independently
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills

Job Description

1. Supervise/Review/Prepare the accounting, finance and administrative matters of the Singapore and overseas entities

2. Cashflow monitoring and liaise with Bank for account opening, placement, etc.

3. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to corporate office, including consolidation

4. Prepare and manage Group Budgeting

5. Coordinate and handle internal and external audit, taxation, company secretarial matters

6. Compliance with corporate governance, tax and regulatory (MAS) requirements

Requirements

1. Diploma/Degree in accountancy, ACCA or its equivalent.

2. About 3-5 years of work experience in a public accounting firm or MNC environment, preferably with work experience in a fund management or related industry, audit or otherwise.

3. Strong in FRS/IFRS requirements and Companies Act

4. Experience with MAS compliance in a fund management industry will be a plus.

5. Exposure in Asia Pacific in accounting and tax is an advantage.

6. Ability to multi-task, reliable and dependable, with high sense of responsibility in meeting deadlines reporting.

7. A fast learner with the ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team environment.
