Responsibilities

• Develop, document, prototype, test and assist in rolling out risk management tools and measures. Coverage includes market, credit and operational risks.
• Develop, document, prototype, test and assist in rolling out risk management controls and monitors based on AsiaNext’s policies, procedures, and guidelines.

• Advise and educate internal stakeholders on internal risk management policies and procedures.
• Specific areas of focus for quantitative risk management include:

1. VAR modelling for different products, including options on futures.
2. Real-time risk modelling, scenario analysis, risk aggregation
3. Counterparty and liquidity risk for exchange members posting risky or illiquid collateral.
4. Default fund set up.
5. Real-time, online counterparty credit analysis.
6. Perform quality assurance on the VaR model by back-testing, model calibration etc.

Qualifications And Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Sciences or related disciplines

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in the financial industry
