Principal Responsibilities

Key duties and tasks will include, but will not be restricted or limited to:

• Lead annual Budget and periodic forecasting process
• Lead and standardise flash reporting, financial reporting and Board presentation

The Opportunity

The key purpose of this Treasury Operations role is to upkeep and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of databases and registers relating to all banking and Treasury activities (such as cash reports, FX exposure reports, bank accounts, bank mandate, bank signatories, bankers’ guarantees, bank fees, credit lines – used and unused and so on). This role is also expected to track and maintain a complete set of up-to-date Treasury policies and process documentation.

• Prepare and analyse cash position reports and monitor financial exposures
• Coordinate with various stakeholders such as business units and legal department for bank account administration, maintenance of bank signers and e-banking system administration
• Conduct regular audits of bank records against Treasury Management System and other internal systems. Analyse bank fees, ensure timely payment of bank fees and identifying fee reduction opportunities
• Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely in Treasury Management System according to treasury and accounting guidelines
• Monthly audits of bank guarantee database and loan database (including intercompany loans). Document, review, update operational procedures to support company policies and objectives
• Ensure that all bank mandates and signers with banks are updated timely and consistent with Treasury policies. Assist with implementation of new banking structures and other ad-hoc treasury related projects as required

Stakeholder management

At regional level:

· Acts as primary interface with business lines (Business COOs, Conduct & Control Officers, Front-Office Conduct & Surveillance) as well as Compliance to:

· Collect, analyze and document business scenarios for the use of voice and chat channels

· Understand business interactions with clients and other external counterparties, and their expectations when communicating with Client.

At global level:

· Obtain validation of APAC plans by global stakeholders through the established governance

Technical Skills

· Understanding of core banking businesses (Global Markets, Corporate Finance, Transaction Banking, Wealth Management) and interactions between front-officers (Sales, Relationship Managers, etc.) and their clients and other counterparties

· Familiar with the technical set-up, usage, recording and surveillance of voice and chat communication channels which are most popular in APAC and globally. Knowledge of end-to-end technical flows into archiving and surveillance back-end systems

· Very comfortable with the use of Office tools to draft process and SOP documents, analyse data and track metrics, and present clear and concise updates and executive messages to senior management

· Fluency in Mandarin is a plus as need to communicate with China Region/Counterpart.

Our Aluminium team has an exciting role they are currently recruiting for. They are seeking a talented, and highly motivated Principal Analyst to work from our Singapore office to build our understanding of the Southeast Asian market and develop and support our growing relationships in the region. • Conduct routine sample tests of fuel oil
