As a System Analyst, you will be at the forefront of maintaining system efficiency and reliability through proactive health checks and issue resolution. Your role is critical in understanding our business operations to identify and solve problems swiftly, ensuring the seamless integration of new technologies and the delivery of superior services.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Regularly perform system health evaluations, classify issues, and implement documented solutions, escalating complex problems as necessary.
· Oversee the incident ticket lifecycle, ensuring efficient communication and resolution of issues.
· Gain a deep understanding of business operations to detect issues early, devise quick fixes, and work towards long-term solutions with cross-functional teams.
· Maintain effective communication with customers, providing regular status updates on incident resolution.
· Actively contribute to the entire lifecycle of system implementation projects, from conception to deployment.
· Assist in planning and executing software integration activities, ensuring smooth integration of systems and subsystems.
· Design and tailor system documentation, reports, and dashboards to improve decision-making and operational transparency.
· Maintain and update technical specifications, test plans, user guides, and documentation, supporting system development and quality assurance.
Skill Requirements
• A diploma or degree in Computing, IT, or related fields, demonstrating a strong foundation in technical knowledge.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to analyse and address issues efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, showcasing expertise in database management and operations.
• Strong technical design and programming skills in languages such as C#, Python, SQL
• Experience with ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of cloud services (Azure, Amazon EC2) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with CargoWise or similar freight management systems is a plus.
• Experience working with integration tools like Microsoft BizTalk, MuleSoft, Altova MapForce, or BOOMI is a plus.
