Accounting Executive assists the Management to support in account & finance, preparing full set of accounts for group and subsidiary and consolidated financial statement for group. Tasks include conduct a good internal controls, cost analyses and preparing accurate financial statements for management on time. This requires an understanding of the business structure, operations and financial performance. The Accounting Executive may need to execute ad-hoc finance-related projects and systems testing.

Job Description:

• Prepare full set of accounts such as Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and audit schedules
• Timely submission of monthly reports
• Focus on purchase management streamlines the purchasing the inventory control process of an organisation for greater efficiency and lower costs
• Monitor cash flow file and maintain cash controls
• Accounts Receivable - Monitoring outstanding balances and following up on overdue payments
• Accounts Payable - Arrange for management approvals and process payments in respect of vendors & staff reimbursements
• Responsible for accounting processes and tasks given
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities when required
• Comply with IFRS for financial statements
• Perform any ad-hoc accounting / financial tasks as may be assigned
• Prefer the experience from manufacturing background

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess at least a CAT/ACCA Level 2/Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
• Candidates should have at least 2 years of working experience in handling full sets of accounts, preferably in technology/manufacturing/machinery leasing industry
• Proficient in ERP and Odoo system

1. Role Description

• Manage and be responsible for the end-to-end accounting and GST submission on a monthly and yearly basis.
• Manage the client onboarding and CDD process.
• Good understanding in corporate services eg accounting, taxation, coporate secretarial and advisory.
• Assist in secretarial and taxation computation and supervisory oversight.
• Manage the operational and workflow management
• Provide excellent client service and ensure deliverables timelines are met.
• Responsible for billings, fee negotiations and recovery for each client engagement.
• Provide work and leave cover for other members of the team.

2. Specific Responsibilities/Competencies

Technical Skills:

• Understanding of accounting services/process
• Understanding of the Customers eg SME, sole proprietorships etc
• Understanding of accounting systems eg ABSS
• Undertstandng of corporate services sales eg accounting, taxation, secretarial etc

Competencies:

• Able to understand and act in a professional manner and perform assignment according to Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Able to handle full accounting
• Able to complete Customer Acceptance Form (CAF) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD).
• Able to use accounting software ABSS
• Able to automate work processes and workflow
• Good people, interpersonal & communications skills
• Proactive, motivated individual and able to work independently
• Meticulous and highly driven team player who is able to meet challenging work requirements and tight timelines
• Able to automate work processes and workflow

3. At least 6 years of accounting experience.
