Responsibilities
You will be working together with the senior associates, managers and partners to plan, lead and execute engagements for financial institutions, regulatory conduct, financial crime and compliance for Banks, Capital Market Services Licensees and other financial institutions. You will perform regulatory related fieldwork and review of documentation to provide quality control over regulatory compliance processes. You will also make recommendations to improve policies, procedures and processes.

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to join our team. The Senior Manager /Associate Director of Client Accounting & Payroll Services will oversee the team rendering accounting and payroll services to our clients.

Job Descriptions:

· Work with clients on their outsourcing needs in accounting and payroll functions, provide fee quotes and finalise engagement letters.

· Prepare and review management accounts on monthly/quarterly/yearly basis for clients from various industries including financial reports, unaudited financial statements, ad-hoc analysis to ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

· Review payroll calculations and manage cashflows of client trust fund.

· Knowledge of payroll legislation and employment law, including statutory requirements.

· Manage billings to clients and follow up on outstanding invoices.

· Manage job allocation and supervise team members on day-to-day basis by coaching, training and support where needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or professional accounting qualification
• Professional accounting designation (eg., CA Singapore, CPA) is preferred
• At least 8-10 years of working experience in mid-tier or large accounting firm

Pre-requisites:

• Excellent understanding of accounting, regulatory compliance and payroll services
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge with accounting software and Times software will be an added advantage

What you'll need to succeed
