• In charge of the preparation of entities’ monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with all regulatory requirements, including SFRS, Corporate tax, Charity and IPC specific reporting obligations
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including the analysis and commentary on major variances
• Provide monthly audit schedules and assist in internal and external audit queries
• In charge for preparation of entities corporate tax (ECI) and work closely with tax agent to file annual corporate tax returns
• Handle all tax queries and tax audit whenever required
• Assist with preparation of transfer pricing documentation
• Support and ensure compliance with all financial filling requirements, corporate tax filling requirement
• Involve in continuous process improvement for more effective and efficient operation
• Assist in new business initiatives and system implementation when required
• Able to work within tight deadlines

Qualifications and requirements:

• Degree in accounting or ACCA and/or its equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years working experience with full set accounting and preferably with audit/tax background.
• Good working knowledge of SFRS and Singapore tax.
• Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook
• A self-starter who can plan, organize and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
• Can-do attitude, good team player, driven and passionate.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Analyst (Credit Control) for a 6-month contract role to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for fresh graduates who are eager to gain experience in the finance sector, particularly within the reinsurance industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing technical payments, insurance and reinsurance accounting matters, and handling a portfolio of direct and intermediary accounts accounts. Key Responsibilities

• Account Management: Manage and reconcile insurance and reinsurance receipts and payments for your assigned portfolio.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile AR/AP balances, ensuring accurate analysis and timely settlements of receivables/payables.
• Payments Processing: Initiate and process payments, including wire transfers via JPMorgan ACCESS, Xuber, and Oracle.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide prompt responses to questions from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Technical Liaison: Collaborate with technical assistants to resolve issues like non-receipt of settlements.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in monthly reconciliations, including Xuber entries in Oracle, and the preparation of HK revaluation and SG cash reports.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to provide support and handle adhoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in accounting, finance or business is preferred
• Experience in credit control or a related field is ideal, but we also welcome fresh graduates or those seeking internship experience.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure financial reporting adheres to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, the bank's accounting policies and procedures, and compliance with local statutory & MAS regulatory requirements.
• To oversee the daily accounting operation, including daily GL management, review NOSTRO accounts reconciliation, OPEX processes etc.
• To review and enhance workflows and internal controls, and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
• To liaise with the branch’s internal and external auditors on audit matters.
• To manage the Accounts Team in ensuring timely delivery of management reporting, local financial and regulatory reporting and statistical surveys.

Requirements:

• Possess a Degree in Finance & Accounting preferably with CA qualification.
• Minimum 6 years financial and accounting experience
• In-depth experience in data statistics, data analytics, accounting report management and financial analysis.;
