Jobscope

• Prepare and responsible for monthly group consolidated financial statements
• Responsible for Group’s treasury related matters
• Lead a team and responsible for monthly closing of accounts, preparation of reports, schedules and variance analysis for a group of companies
• Responsible for GST filling, income tax computation and filling as well as yearly statutory financial reporting
• Review and post all accounting transactions
• Review payments to suppliers and monthly invoices
• Execute credit control including responsible for monitoring of account receivables collection and cash flow
• Assist in internal control and risk management for group of companies
• Ensure compliance of financial authority limits, financial reporting standards (FRS), company policies and other regulations

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Possess a recognized degree in accounting or hold an equivalent professional qualification like ACCA.
• Demonstrated expertise in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and a strong understanding of relevant accounting regulations.
• A minimum of 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in managing accounting teams within an accounting/outsourcing firm, with an audit background preferred.
• Proven track record in effectively handling quality management, process enhancement, and team leadership.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams toward outstanding results.
• Capable of handling consolidations and technical topics on SFRS and IFRS.
• Proven ability to navigate and resolve complex audit issues with external auditors, ensuring compliance and maintaining the highest standard of service.

• Serve as a revenue recognition and finance subject matter expert and partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal and Sales Operations during the contract negotiation process by analyzing the impact of contract terms, communicating the revenue impact, and offering alternative structures
• Collaborate with Finance business partners on revenue metrics, forecasts, and projections

To ensure financial reporting adheres to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, the bank's accounting policies and procedures, and compliance with local statutory & MAS regulatory requirements.

• To oversee the daily accounting operation, including daily GL management, review NOSTRO accounts reconciliation, OPEX processes etc.

• To review and enhance workflows and internal controls, and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.

• To liaise with the branch’s internal and external auditors on audit matters.

• To manage the Accounts Team in ensuring timely delivery of management reporting, local financial and regulatory reporting and statistical surveys.

• To prepare tax computation schedules, check tax computations, to liaise with tax agents on Branch’s corporate tax, to attend queries raised by the Comptroller of Income Tax.

• Familiar with MAS reporting, to review MAS reports prepared by the team, draft and respond to the queries and questions raised by MAS.

• To check daily management reports and conduct in-depth financial analysis on the branch's financial performance.

Requirements:

· Possess a Degree in Finance & Accounting preferably with CA qualification.

· Minimum 6 years financial and accounting experience in banks.
