The Accounting Management Specialist reports to the BPO Management Tower Support (Supervisor). Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Efficiency Improvements: Review post-close BPO Journal Entry activities to identify opportunities to reduce transaction volume and improve efficiency.
• Risk Identification: Work across towers to identify risks in processes and implement improvement opportunities.
• Compliance: Ensure BPO compliance with ACR record retention policies.
• Migration Support: Work with GAC BPO Management Tower Leads to understand new responsibilities from any migration of work. Update related documentation.

Responsibility

• Manage and mentor a team of account associates in providing quality accounting and taxation services.

Requirements

General Ledger Maintenance

• Maintain general and subsidiary ledgers, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.
• Coordinate month-end reconciliations of major account balances to subsidiary ledgers.
• Prepare and verify general ledger account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Verify product movements and account inputs according to accounting principles.

Inventory & Expense Management

• Review detailed purchase lists and prepare monthly inventory summaries for different product lines.
• Charge expenses to regional JV as per the approved agreement.
• Calculate monthly retrofit adjustments for related product lines.

Commission & Fixed Assets

• Review commission income and prepare third-party commission expense reports.
• Handle fixed asset functions to ensure compliance with policies.

Financial Reporting & Budgeting

• Prepare half-yearly G&A charge-out computation for regional JV.
• Review inventory value for potential write-downs on a quarterly basis.
• Prepare annual statutory accounts and manage audit queries.
• Participate in annual budgeting for operating and capital expenses, ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines.

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Prepare SOX key control testing documentation to ensure effective internal control.
• Assist with lease contract handling, ensuring compliance with USGAAP and FRS 116 standards.

Other Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventory counts and special assignments as directed.
• Post vendor invoices as required
