* MOM WPOL/EPOL/ matter

* Handling other admin duties

* Perform any other ad hoc duties when required.

Job Requirements :

* Candidate must possess at least diploma or equivalent.

* Language: Bilingual in English and Chinese Mandarin (read, write and speak) as the incumbent needs to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates in the course of work.

Job Summary:

The Section Account Manager in Planning & Control will play a critical role in overseeing the company’s financial health by forecasting, planning and analyzing the costs of products, projects, and services. This position focuses on forecasting, planning, analyzing, and reporting the costs associated with business operations, driving improvements in cost efficiency, and supporting strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cost forecasting & planning, analytical skills, and experience with manufacturing or production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and development of financial forecasts, budgets and projections for all departments and business units.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the alignment of financial forecasts with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial planning that aligns with company objectives and market conditions.
• Oversee the rolling forecasts and evaluate the impact of business drivers, market trends and operational changes.
• Oversee the operations of cost control accounting, including the analysis, reporting, and management of costs associated with production, materials, labor, and overheads.
• Develop and maintain forecasting models and systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Prepare and present periodic financial reports, highlighting deviations from forecasted targets and advising on corrective measures.
• Lead the adoption of new technologies or practices to continuously improve the forecasting process by streamlining workflows, enhancing tools and systems, ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
• Work closely within the team to ensure that financial forecasts are realistic and based on accurate assumptions.
• Assist in guiding and mentoring the team, providing support and professional development opportunities.
• Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring team members understand responsibilities and timelines.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to identify innovative solutions and maintain high-quality standards.

Qualifications:

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.

Experience:

• 5-8 years of experience in financial forecasting, planning, and cost control, with leadership skills, preferably in a fab or manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Independent, proactive with a positive and hands-on attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and report on the performance of international investments. Develop financial models to forecast returns and assess related risks.

• Analyze cashflow and build strong relationship with banks in ensuring optimal use of financial resources.

• Prepare detailed financial statements for regional subsidiaries, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Ensure adherence to local accounting standards and corporate policies.

• Prepare financial reports and analysis to senior management for budgeting and forecasting initiatives.

• Identify and implement enhancements to financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics from an accredited institution. Professional certifications (such as CFA or CPA) are strongly preferred.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on investment returns, treasury management, cash flow analysis, and regional accounting.

• High proficiency in financial software and accounting systems.

• Capability to navigate ambiguity and perform effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders in China.

Role Summary:

The Senior Cost Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the company’s financial health by managing and analyzing the costs of products, projects, and services. This position focuses on tracking, analyzing, and reporting the costs associated with business operations, driving improvements in cost efficiency, and supporting strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cost accounting, analytical skills, and experience with manufacturing or production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Analysis & Reporting:

• Analyze product, labor, and material costs, and prepare detailed reports to support financial decision-making.
• Develop and maintain standard costs and manage cost updates and variances.
• Review and analyze cost data to identify trends and recommend adjustments to optimize production costs.
• Prepare and oversee cost of good manufacturing and inventory monthly close, and analyze actuals with forecasts, and budgets as well as other ad-hoc reports for management.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts, ensuring accurate reporting and valuation.
• Conduct monthly and annual physical inventory counts and coordinate cycle counts as needed.
• Manage inventory reserves, and make recommendations for adjustments based on current and forecasted needs.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing detailed cost data and analysis.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to improve costing and efficiency.
• Develop and analyze key cost metrics, helping teams understand cost drivers and work to reduce waste.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement:

• Ensure compliance with internal control policies, company standards, and GAAP.
• Continuously seek to improve cost accounting processes and systems, identify gaps, and implement best practices.
• Support the financial audit process by preparing and reviewing cost-related documents.

Cost System Maintenance:

• Maintain and update the cost accounting system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Work closely with IT and ERP systems teams to resolve costing issues and optimize the system's performance.

Education Qualification & Essential Experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in Fab/Manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and cost accounting principles.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, sales receipts and bank reconciliation, general
  ledger, payroll, budgeting cash forecasting revenue and expenditure variance analysis, fixed assets etc
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements as required

• Analyzing financial data and creating reports for management, stakeholders, and external pares, such as financial or sales consultants.
• Manage all banking matters, including internet banking
• Manage Corporate Income tax and GST regulations of Singapore, including the filing and submission of quarterly GST
• Responsible for corporate secretariat works by working closely with professional corporate secretary on various filing in compliance with the Companies Act and ACRA
• Working closely with Management and assisting other departments to develop strategies,
  establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any professional cerfication in Accountancy such
  as ACCA, ICEAW, C.A (Singapore), CPA (Australia) etc.
• 4-5 years of relevant working experience in commercial accounting and finance with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory rol
• Adequate understanding and experience in Corporate Income tax and GST regulaons of Singapore, including the filing and submission of quarterly GST
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only.
