5. Compliance and Internal Controls

• Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, tax compliance, and audit requirements.
• Develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure process efficiency.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.

6. Team Collaboration and Leadership

• Guide junior accounting staff and provide mentorship to enhance team capability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, procurement) to align financial processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in consolidation and food manufacturing.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and cost accounting principles.

We are an independent premium spirits distributor, seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Admin Assistant cum Accounting Staff. This role requires a blend of administrative, logistics and accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will effectively manage office operations, support sales activities, and contribute to financial record-keeping.

What You'll Do:

Administrative & Logistics:

· Manage office operations, including maintaining records in the ERP system, coordinating deliveries, and general office management.

· Handle inventory management, including shipping and customs clearance for sales deliveries.

Accounting & Finance:

· Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and timely.

· Maintain and update financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll and submit CPF.

· Assist in bank reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and submitting GST declarations.

· Send Statements of Account (SOA) and follow up on overdue payments.

· Ensure adherence to accounting standards and procedures.
