Job description

• Assign with and manage/service a diversified portfolio of clients providing statutory auditing services and to co-lead/lead the engagements.
• Involved in budgeting process to prepare forecasts billings and collections on a regular basis.
• Perform significant risks assessment and audit procedures according to an audit plan.
• Assess audit evidence to derive at conclusions in response to audit objectives.
• Analyse matters arising from audit with Audit Leader/Partner.
• Ensure proper audit documentation and file quality.
• Responsible for audit engagements’ quality, delivery, and budget.
• Provide professional development trainings and manage the team performance.
• Maintain client relationship and development a long-term partnership.

Job requirement

• Have at least a Degree in Accountancy/Accounting/Finance or equivalent
• Have at least 4 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, relevant statutory rules and good understanding in the regulatory compliance and procedures.
• Have a positive attitude, great communication skills, an analytical mind, problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, ability to work independently as well as an effectively team player.

Responsibilities

• Developing audit programs, and reviewing systems of internal controls.
• Performing audit tests to determine compliance with prevailing policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness in accomplishment of objectives and goals established for various organisational and functional activities.
• Identifying critical issues and recommending the appropriate courses of action / improvements for the organisation’s operations.
• Prepare and tabulate audit findings, and feedback and to follow up on agreed actions from previous audits.
• Review and develop the risk management policy and keep it up-to-date.
• Calibrate the organization’s assessment and tolerance of risk with the appropriateness and adequacy of controls it has implemented; to understand and assess the effectiveness of such controls and report performance of these to management and the Board Audit and Risk Committee (BARC).

Requirements

• Min Degree in Accountancy or other relevant qualified profession.
• At least 8 years’ related experience in internal control/ auditing and risk assessment in Petrochemical Industry

A Certified Public Accountants firm located in the Central Business District is currently looking to recruit an Audit Associate to join our growing Audit department. CSI & Co. Responsible for maintaining the accounts of various entities

· Maintain full set of accounts

· Proper and timely accounting transactions in Xero accounting system including processing of AP/AR, receipts and accounting entries

· TT online banking and issue cheques

· Monthly payroll & CPF submission

· Bank reconciliations, staff expense claim & supplier payments

· Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements

· Responsible for corporate tax and quarterly GST submission

- Knowledge of simple corporate secretarial duties eg. GST filing, New company name check, Corp Pass matters

- Develop and maintain a filing system

- Submit and reconcile expense reports and claims

- Carry out administrative duties such as filing, data entry, scanning and copying of documents etc.

- Checking and replying emails

- Able to be multi-tasked and work under tight datelines

- Any other administrative duties assigned from time to time

Requirements

Potential candidate who have admin experience is an advantage

Corporate Secretaries Admin or assistant experience is an advantage
