Responsibilities:

We are looking for compliance personnel to assist in enhancing the compliance risk framework of the company. The candidate will help to manage and execute the compliance programs, provide policy guidance and to carry out compliance training for the company’s diversified investment business groups. Depending on the candidate’s experience, duties will include the following:

• Conduct compliance reviews and monitoring/surveillance across the company’s business activities;

• Develop risk-based compliance programs to facilitate the execution of compliance reviews and monitoring;

• Advise the business units in meeting regulatory requirements through implementing appropriate compliance risk policies, assisting with the design and implementation of risk and compliance management initiatives, and enhancing and improving internal processes and procedures;

• Provide compliance training and support through issuing of internal compliance updates, training modules and compliance guidelines

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ relevant experience in compliance, audit or risk management in the securities, financial advisory or fund management industry

• Should have knowledge of key applicable regulations in Singapore such as the Securities & Futures Act, Financial Advisers Act, MAS Notices and Guidelines, AML/CFT regulations

Straits Retail Property Management Services currently manages the following shopping malls in its portfolio: Paragon, The Clementi Mall and The Woodleigh Mall. The Group Marketing Communications team is comprised of 3 teams: 2 mall loyalty programme teams and the Partnerships and International Marketing team. We are looking for a Senior Manager / Manager to work on the Partnerships and International Marketing portfolio. The candidate will work directly and extensively with both internal and external stakeholders, to drive partnerships and international marketing initiatives, and ultimately acquire loyalty programme members and encourage shopper footfall and spend. The candidate should be able to think and respond on the fly in accordance with market shifts.

• To develop a pipeline of partnership opportunities and corresponding frameworks and collaboration formats across a variety of prospective industries, including but not limited to: banks/financial institutions, hospitality, lifestyle, payment gateways
• To be well-versed with key target tourist markets and proactively conceptualize corresponding collaborative campaigns to drive the international marketing strategy

Job Qualifications

About the Role

You will help to develop and maintain strong client relationships by delivering excellent client services. You are also expected to help identify new business opportunities and be involved in practice development activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience for managers and 7 years for senior managers within a professional service firm, medium size and Big 4 accounting firms or MNC.
• Bachelor degree (Accountancy, Information Systems or equivalent) from a local/recognised overseas university or industry recognised qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIA, CISA etc
• Working knowledge of IIA standards and excellent knowledge of global internal controls, risk management and governance standards (e.g., COSO, SOX, ISO standards, Singapore’s Code of Corporate Governance etc.)
• Prior experience in ESG consulting or IT audits including the use of data analytics tools, will be an advantage.
