• Generate ledger balances for reporting purposes.
• Oversee month-end closing processes and prepare quarterly financial reports for management.
• Handle tax and GST submissions.
• Liaise with auditors for year-end audits
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Finance Manager
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time-management skills
• Experience in SAP software would be an added advantage

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue invoices promptly and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Process daily accounts receivable transactions, manage cash flow, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Monitor and address overdue accounts, ensuring timely collections and maintaining an up-to-date aging report.
• Support month-end closing activities, including transaction recording, posting journal entries, and assisting with bank reconciliations.
• Generate and distribute monthly account statements to customers.
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, handling emails, and answering phone calls.

Requirements:

• Minimum "O" Level certification or equivalent; accounting-related qualifications are an advantage.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting functions.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively.

Job Scope:

• Handle AP/AR issues
• Assist in the closing of monthly accounts, timely and in accordance to the guidelines of the HQ
• Produce and maintain the monthly reports for various heads of department
• Prepares ad-hoc analyze/reports and attends to queries as and when required
• Assist in the preparation of audit & tax schedules
• Other work as required by management from time to time
