Purpose of role

The primary purpose of this role is to manage all the Finance related administrative matters as well as all payment issues within the whole Innovare Group.

Job Scope:

• Monitor daily incoming fund and enter bank for payment
• Coordinate or arrange payments to supplier/consultant/govt bodies
• Monitoring of payment emails and forward all payment to authorisers
• To ensure payment cycles are accurately processed and authorised on time
• Checking and prepare monthly staff claims
• Monthly accounting double entries
• Check mailbox and opening of Finance related mails for scanning and filling
• Any ad hoc tasks and projects as and when required

Qualifications

• Preferably 1-year relevant accounting experience
• Preferably knowledge in MYOB

• Maintain a complete set of books, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare comprehensive quarterly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements, corporate tax reports.
• Conduct regular financial analysis and generate reports to support business decisions.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process to ensure compliance.
• Liaise with bankers and oversee head office reporting requirements.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team.
• Oversee and manage GST reporting to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and personal tax regulations, timely preparation and submission of tax returns and liaise with tax authorities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or in a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
• Proven ability to maintain a full set of books.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders, both written and verbal.
• Experience in HR and administrative work is an added advantage.

• Monthly reconciliation of accounts, closing of accounts, gather and extraction of related parties’ transactions.
