The scope of work for the above job title includes, but is not limited to, the following:

General Accounting: Handle day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and general ledger entries.

Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Bank Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.

Tax Compliance: Preparation of GST returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations

Audit Support: Prepare schedules and provide necessary documentation for internal and external audits.

Financial Documentation: Maintain accurate financial records, filing systems, and documentation in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

Ad hoc tasks: Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks as needed, including reporting and analysis.

Requirements

Education: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. o Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Oracle NetSuite) and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. o Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. o Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Language: Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with GST filings and tax compliance in Singapore.

Knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.

Working Hours: 44 hours per week

Monday to Friday : 8 hours per day

Saturday : 4 hours (After successful completion of probation period, you will have the flexibility to work from home on Saturdays)

Job Description

• Generate and prepare manufacturing work order documents
• Update daily production output, non-conforming quantities, etc which are required for department KPI compilation
• Update delivery schedule and submit to Admin for Delivery Order (DO) preparations
• Data entry into ERP for inventory and costing purposes
• General administrative support for the department where required

Job Requirements

• Min. secondary school qualifications
• Able to work independently
• Basic computer skills (eg. able to do data entry into Microsoft Excel)
• Experience in intepreting simple technical drawings is an advantage
