Account Assistant (Full-time & Part-time)

Job Description

General Ledger Management:

 Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger.

 Record daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

 Process staff claims efficiently.

 Ensure adherence to established accounting processes and policies.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Accounts Payable:

 Manage Accounts Payable entries.

 Verify that all inventory suppliers' invoices are accompanied by PO, acknowledged

DO, and GRN.

 Enter inventory suppliers' invoices into QuickBooks Online (QBO), generating and

verifying corresponding accounting entries.

 Ensure non-inventory suppliers' invoices are supported by relevant documents and

proper approvals (e.g., without PO).

 Maintain an organized filing system for all supplier invoices and supporting

documents.

 Prepare payments to both local and overseas suppliers.

 Reconcile Accounts Payable ledgers for accuracy.

 Ensure an efficient system for filing documents and correspondences.

 Review and reconcile monthly supplier statements.

Accounts Receivable:

 Ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables.

 Reconcile Accounts Receivable ledgers.

 Implement an organized system for filing related documents and correspondences.

 Update weekly customer aging reports by Salesman and by Company.

 Generate and print Accounts Receivable aging reports.

 Email Statements of Account (SOA) to customers at month-end.

Requirements:

 Only for Singaporeans.

 Experience in accounting, good knowledge Excel skills and Word.

 Ability to work independently and efficiently.

 High attention to detail and accuracy.
