MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

AR Duties

• Perform AR month end closing activities.

Adhoc Duties

• Preparing any reports required by Group Financial Controller/ Senior Accountant.
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial, tax and government authorities where required
• Support Accountant in ensuring compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement (GST) and audits.
• Assist in new processes and system implementation when required

REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities:

• To be lead engineer or assistant lead engineer in new shipbuilding or ship repair/retrofit projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Mechanical/Marine/Offshore/Naval Architecture

Job Description:

1. Perform day to day finance activities including AP, AR, cashflow

2. Prepare monthly report schedule including accruals & prepayments

3. Perform month end & year end accounts closing, produce accurate Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss and submission to IRAS

4. Perform tax computations

5. Able to handle internal and external audit

6. Carry out collection of payment from customers, liaising with salesman to resolve payment discrepancies

7. Able to do GST & IRAS submission

8. Perform monthly bank reconciliation.

9. Handle administrative tasks

10. Monitor office expenses and ensure cost-effective operations

11. Handle HR related matters

12. Process & handle Annual Leave, Home Leave and etc

Job Description:

1. Oversee and manage the entire order fulfilment process, ensuring smooth coordination between local sales and delivery.
2. Coordinate with Sales, Production, and Operations departments to ensure timely processing, packing, and delivery of sales orders.
3. Prepare essential documentation, including delivery orders, packing lists, and invoices.
4. Document sales transactions in the SAP system accurately, and handle after-retail sales services.
5. Address customer queries and concerns to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
6. Perform follow-up actions with the finance department to ensure payment is received and close sales
7. Utilize data analytics tools to analyze sales and supply chain performance.
8. Generate insightful reports for continuous process improvement, when required.

Requirement:

1. Diploma, preferably in logistics/ supply chain/ operations, or equivalent.
2. Meticulous with an eye for detail.
3. Strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Proficient in both verbal and written communication in English and Mandarin to interact with Mandarin/English-speaking clients/stakeholders.
5. Willing to take up ad-hoc duties assigned by the company.
6. Knowledge of SAP will be advantageous.
7. Experienced candidates may be considered for the Supply Chain Executive role.
