Job Purpose

You will be responsible for the planning, organizing and executing audits for the Great Eastern Group of Companies. Being part of the Audit team, you will need to provide an independent and objective assurance to improve the Group’s operations.

The Job

· Ensures coverage of relevant regulatory requirements and recommends improvements to corporate policies, procedures and practices;

· Leads or participates in the planning for each audit assignment to ensure performance of audit assignments, quality of reports and timeliness of deliverables;

· Develops audit plans and programs. Ensures that these documents are up-to-date and suitable to the current operating environment of the auditee;

· Ensures timely reporting of findings, risks and recommendations for auditee’s response and finalisation of report to AC (Audit Committee);

· Leads or participates in other ad-hoc assignments including special projects and investigations;

· Assists in the follow-up with auditees on outstanding audit findings through the issuance of Audit Tracking Report and verification of resolved findings;

· Ensures that audit operating standards and procedures are observed, and requirements of the Quality Assurance Review are met;

· Assists in the administration of Group Internal Audit and ensures effective and efficient usage of the Department’s resources;

· Assist the Head of Internal Auditor in ad-hoc assigned non-audit responsibilities (if any); and

· Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.

· Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.

· Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Our Requirements

· Degree or Masters in Business / Finance / Economics / Other related

· At least 6 years of experience in the financial industry related to financial institution’s asset management such as asset-liability management, investment management or financial risk management.

· Familiar with the regulatory requirements specific to Investment, including MAS Notice 125;

· Experienced in investment asset analysis and usage of systems such as Eagle investment system;

· Strong report writing, communication and presentation skills;

· Analytical, independent and a good team player;

· Committed and able to interact well with all levels of staff;

· Proficient in oral and written English;

· Able to travel overseas when required (once/ twice every quarter); and

· High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.

Main Tasks

● Support the Operations Coordinator in the day-to-day duties such as:

○ Managing accurate entry and processing of all orders received

○ Planning and coordinating product delivery activities to ensure accurate and timely deliveries to customers

○ Manage customer order fulfillment and handling customers’ enquiries in a timely and professional manner

● Inventory management:

○ Ensure accuracy in stocktaking

○ Ensure proper replenishment of gift cards and other inventory for timely distribution to our partners and consumers

○ Preparation of stock reports for inventory review

● Work closely with merchants to ensure all product information such as pricing, description, product image, and inventory are up to date and available-to-sell

● Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. sales, marketing) to address customers’ issues

● Act as the point of contact for escalated issues from our clients as appropriate

● Provide support in any other administrative tasks in other department as required

1. Perform bookkeeping into the accounting system.
2. Prepare and ensure accuracy of AP aging report.
3. Prepare cash flow forecasting and annual budgeting.

5. Supplier Bills Processing:

• Receive and review bills from regular, term, and ad hoc suppliers.
• Verify bills in 3-way matching: Cross-referencing with purchase orders (PO), goods received notes (GRN)/ delivery orders, contract, and bills.
• Preparation of payment list with complete supporting documents.
• Monthly AP reconciliation with suppliers’ SOA.
• Communicate with vendors for month SOA matching and resolve payment-related queries.

6. Staff Claim Processing:

• Prepare staff claims with its supporting documents and check with the claim policies.
• Execute payments accurately with complete documents within established timelines.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations in the warehouse, including receiving, storing, packing, and dispatching goods.

Key Responsibilities

General Job Requirements:

Based in Singapore and reporting to the Asia 5 + ANZ STS Lead of APAC Global Financial Solutions (GFS), this position will be responsible for the delivery of Source to Settle (STS) & Order to Cash (OTC) services mainly focusing on APAC markets.

The customers for the STS process will be represented by Finance Business Partners of APAC markets in Gilead and will also include the Finance and business users of the process along with Gilead suppliers.
