Job Scope:

· To arrange ships' stores and spare parts supply for vessels under our management.

· To arrange necessary maintenance and repair for vessels under our management.

· To attend to our vessel for checking the ship's condition.

· To act as a ship's owner (Correspondence with the concerned authorities and other parties)

· Act as a crew manning agent (Crew change, etc.)

· To report the above-related matter to the HQ and our associated ship management company.

· Only the Japanese language is to be used when the above-stated reporting, etc.

Requirements:

· Academic history : Master’s degree or above ( Marine Science and Technology)

. Having experience as a ship's officer for at least 5 years.

· Having experience in ship management of ocean-going vessels.

· Having language skills of Japanese (N1 Level at JLPT) & English.

· Being well familiar with maritime technical terms in Japanese.

· Having good knowledge of ships' operation and management

· Having a positive attitude with a high level of integrity and initiative

· Willing to travel abroad when required (e.g. ships' malfunction)

· Having good computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)

· Research new wholesale food suppliers and negotiate prices

 Calculate future needs in kitchenware and equipment and place orders, as needed

 Manage and store vendors’ contracts and invoices

 Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff

 Prepare shift schedules

 Supervise kitchen and wait staff and provide assistance, as needed

 Keep detailed records of daily, weekly and monthly costs and revenues

 Arrange for new employees’ proper onboarding (scheduling trainings and ordering uniforms)

 Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations

 Gather guests’ feedback and recommend improvements to our menus

Scope of Position

To prepare all the flower requirements for the guestrooms, function rooms and restaurants as requested by Housekeeping office. Also responsible in delivering Legendary Quality Experience to all guests with special focus in VIP arrivals.

Duties and Supporting Responsibilities

• To check daily arrival assigned room report and event order to ensure flowers are done and delivered before arrival / function starts.
• To touch –up public area and outlet flower every morning.
• Stock check of flower delivered suppliers are fresh and good condition.
• To sign in / out at housekeeping department.
• Clean flower vases before dispatch to guest room.
• To keep work area clean.
• To ensure chiller and flower vase water are changed daily.
• Sign out attendance when going off duty and inform housekeeper.
• To perform any other additional duties that may be assigned to her.
• To change flowers at Club Lounge every Tuesday.
• Participate in meeting when required.
• To arrange festive decorations.

The responsibilities of this role are:

• Source, negotiate, and select vendors that meet the company’s quality, price, and delivery requirements.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.
• Review and analyze purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders.
• Generate purchase orders for outsourcing jobs and non-inventory purchase.

• Ensure timely delivery of items and follow up with vendors on late orders.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

• Run job fulfillment and release to store for next action of activity.
• Monitor, observe and expediting the components availabilities for job fulfillment.
• Work closely with interest parties, between Operations & Sales Departments on job/customer order fulfillment.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

• N level, O level or Nitec Cert
• Min 2 years relevant working experience
• Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of purchasing and planning principles and procedures
• Some knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
• Some knowledge in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is an advantage.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
