This position will be part of the Policy and Systems Management team, oversees the launch of new schemes from design to process development and implementation. The team is also responsible to drive inter-agency and cross-division projects to improve government’s financial support to patients and their caregivers.

1. Policy & Analytics

• Lead policy related discussions with MOH and other agencies; coordinate the launch of new policies in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform review of existing policies and procedures, identify gaps and suggest improvements to existing process supported by data.
• Provide staffing support.

2. Project management

• Participate in cross-agency projects to improve government’s support to patients. Represent the division in the workgroup discussions and involve in the project planning process.
• Responsible for the development and delivery of assigned projects, monitor the activities, and lead change management effort to support the implementation.
• Review and improve the existing processes to achieve cost-effectiveness and productivity gain.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree with 3 years of relevant experience from public sector organizations.
• Experience in managing cross-agencies projects, process planning, change management and reporting would be advantageous.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good interpersonal skills to work across multiple stakeholders.
• Able to handle ambiguity, strong analytical skill and effective time management to meet project timeline.

The Assistant Manager/Senior Executive, Research Administration plays a pivotal role in supporting the administration of research projects and grants. This position involves managing budgets, coordinating with research teams, and providing comprehensive administrative support to the Associate Chair of Research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Manager (Research) in overseeing research projects and grants, including budget
  management, allocation of student assistants, and processing payments.
• Ensure all research projects comply with regulatory and funding agency requirements.
• Work closely with the Manager (Research), faculty members, and other departments to
  ensure effective project management and successful completion.
• Process grant administration requests, track changes and expenses, and maintain project
  reconciliation spreadsheets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with funding agencies and external partners.
• Prepare progress reports, final reports, and other documentation required by funding
  agencies.
• Compile, maintain, and manage records and filing systems for research grants.
• Update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reflect changes in regulatory requirements
  and best practices.
• Provide administrative support to the Associate Chair of Research, including scheduling
  appointments, managing calendars, and organizing meetings.
• Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other materials for meetings and presentations.
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the Manager (Research) and Associate
  Chair of Research.

Requirements:

• Master or Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a minimum of 3 years of experience in research
  administration, including budget and grant management.
• At least 3 years of experience in research administration and providing executive-level
  administrative support.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other automation software.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of
  stakeholders.
• Highly organized and meticulous, with strong attention to detail.
• Capable of prioritizing tasks effectively and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
