Responsibilities:

• Provide underwriting support
• Extract key observations in reports and conduct basic research
• Assist in compiling reports
• Ad-hoc projects, as and when assigned

The junior underwriter will be assigned to a Senior Underwriter as their mentor focusing on facultative underwriting.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma Holder, Degree or Graduating Student (majoring in either Finance, Maths or Engineering)
• 1 to 2 years of experience
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in languages may be an advantage

Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting

• Experienced in handling full sets of accounts, corporate tax, individual tax, GST filing etc.
• Good knowledge of shipping terms, payment terms and Incoterms an added advantage.
• Month End closing, reports submission and ad-hoc duties assigned.
• To liaise with auditors and prepare supporting documents for year-end audit.
• To assist business groups on accounting matters.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in similar capacity is required for this position.
• Preferably with SAP knowledge.
