Working Days and Timing:

5 Working Days + 1 Saturday per Month: Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5:30pm

Our client is one of the licensed warehouses, specialised in handling and storage of dutiable cargo like alcoholic beverages and tobacco is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position of Forklift Cum Warehouse Assistant and located in Tuas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receiving, storing, and organizing incoming stock.
• Picking and packing orders for shipment.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Keeping detailed records of inventory.
• Inspecting goods for defects or damages.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Assisting with inventory audits.
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Communicating effectively with other warehouse staff and supervisors.
• Following health and safety guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must know how to use the forklift licence

• 5 days, Near Boon Lay, transport provided
• 1yr contract, completion bonus
• Staff benefits entitlement
• Salary: $3000 - $3500 basic
• Able to start within short notice

Job Description:

• Compile and breakdown contract negotiation language changes preferable using any AI to track and consolidate contract language between original vs. revised.
• Other general support includes planning and purchasing such as emailing, communicate with suppliers for committed dates, generate report, etc.
• Any other general task assigned by the purchasing & planning supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum a Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related fields.
• No experience can apply as on-the-job training will be provided
• Willing to learn and enjoy interacting with internal/external customers
• Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing and planning.
• Able to communicate in English and Mandarin as this role will involve liaising with mandarin-speaking suppliers overseas.
• Able to work effectively and independently under pressure.
• Able to meet deadlines and has strong follow up skills.
• Detail oriented and high degree of accuracy.
