We are looking for a manager for the IFRS17 GI team. This role will be an integral team member within the IFRS17 team in the Actuarial Department to deliver the enterprise wide IFRS17 project.
The primary job responsibilities include:
- To project manage and coordinate actuarial IFRS17 teams to deliver IFRS17 project, focusing on General & Group Insurance portfolio.
- Develop and maintain project plan to monitor, track progress and escalation of risks.
- Develop IFRS17 requirements that integrate data, actuarial models & accounting solution for financial reporting and business planning.
- Lead and drive collaboration with cross functional teams to deliver the enterprise wide IFRS17 project.
- Opportunity to learn, develop and apply actuarial expertise in the new accounting standard.
- This role will provide you the opportunity to lead a team within Actuarial and be exposed to Chief Actuary and Senior Management.
Requirements:
- Good progress in actuarial qualifications with 4-5 years of relevant experience in General Insurance actuarial function.
- Good progress in actuarial exams.
- Strong project management, excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Strong team player who is adaptable, open to a dynamic working environment and willing to explore new ways of working.
