Reporting to the Accountant, we are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounts Executive, Payroll to manage the hotel’s payroll system, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of wages in compliance with applicable tax laws and Four Seasons Hotel Singapore policies. Our client, a leading manufacturer, is looking for suitable talents to join their growing business as Accounts Executive.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform daily AP duties, verifying invoices and monitoring payment schedules to ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers, avoiding late payment penalties.
• Liaise with salesmen to arrange advance payments.
• Have basic knowledge of analyzing profit and loss and balance sheet reports for credit limit reviews.
• Assist in preparing payments for staff claims.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status, discrepancies, disputes, and other concerns.
• Assist in preparing commission reports, accounts payable reports, including aging reports, payment forecasts, and analysis of trade payables.
• Work closely with the sales and accounts team to ensure timely payments.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, tax regulations, and external audit requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all AP transactions to meet audit and internal control requirements.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Account Payable
• Familiarity with SAP, GST and Tax knowledge

• Location: Central
• Working hours: 5 days work week

About you:

• Singaporean/PR
• Polytechnic/Diploma in accountancy or LCCI diploma in accountancy or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant working experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Meticulous, proactive, and a good team player.
• Able to start work immediately or at short notice.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day functions by performing entry-level accounting duties, including AR/AP and other financial related duties

• Update of Data into the Accounting Software

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of records

• Ensure accurate, timely monthly / yearly financial closing

• Reconcile cash and bank balance on timely basis

• Preparation of journals, schedules, reconciliations

• Includes administrative scope.

• Perform other ad-hoc assignments

Job Requirements:

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Able to work well with people at all levels

• Multi-tasking and self-initiative.

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in a relevant discipline

• Minimum 1 - 2 year(s) relevant working experience

Responsibilities:

• Handle all AP tasks, including supplier reconciliations, journal entries, and staff claims.
• Prepare documents for audits.
• Help with quarterly GST returns and withholding tax.
• Take on other tasks as needed.
