As a Strata Management Accounts Executive at Knight Frank, you’ll take ownership of handling multiple sets of accounts, ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with an accounting background, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

What you will be doing:

• Handling full sets of accounts across multiple portfolios, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Preparing monthly financial and management reports, and bank reconciliation within stipulated deadlines.
• Preparing audit schedules and addressing auditor queries for annual statutory and audits.
• Preparing quarterly GST submissions to IRAS.

We’re looking for someone who’s:

• Qualified in accounting, with at least 2 years of relevant experience (entry-level candidates are welcome to apply!).
• Proficient in Microsoft office, especially Excel and Word, with familiarity in accounting software as a plus.
• Meticulous and responsible, ensuring accurate accounting records
• Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and operate independently.

JOB PURPOSE:

Support and coordinate the internal and external resources to expedite company workflow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle full set of accounts, including AR, AP, GL, costing, financial statements and GST reporting for a few companies.

• Ensure compliance with organizational financial policy as well as statutory financial requirements.

• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, schedules, analysis and management reports timely.

• Monthly bank reconciliation.

• Liaise with external parties such as HQ, inter-companies, auditors, banks, landlords, suppliers and service providers.

• Assist in daily cash application of receipts.

• Assist in month-end close and reporting.

• Prepare reconciliations and audit schedules.

• Assist with ad-hoc project as assigned

• Liaise and coordinate with associates, tax agent, auditors, corporate secretary and support superior on other accounting duties as in assigned.

• Prepare and file GST returns

• Assist in tax and auditing matters

• Maintain and ensure proper internal control and documentations

JOB SPECIFICATION:

• At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position

• At least a Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent, LCCI or ACCA.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese speaking associate.

• Independent, meticulous, proactive with pleasant disposition.

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel

• Must be meticulous in work and good record keeping

• Strong time management skills
