Job Description:
- Prepare financial data for entry into the accounting system
- Ensure all receipts are updated in the accounting system on timely basis
- Handle the banking of cheques into bank accounts on timely basis
- Handle accounts receivables and accounts payables
- Prepare bank reconciliation and audit schedules
- Prepare monthly payslips for payroll purpose
- Handle account closing up to the monthly trial balance, income statement and balance sheet
- Handle quarterly Goods and Services Tax filing
- Handle corporate secretarial documents and annual return filing
- Compilation of accounts or reports (preparation of unaudited report)
- Liaising with external auditor
- Handle corporate tax computation and tax return filing
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/Finance;
- Proactive and committed to meet deadline;
- Pleasant personality and organised.
- At least 2 years of professional firm experience will be an advantage.
- Experience of auditing or tax (corporate income tax) will be an advantage.
- Experience of usage of Quickbooks, Xero, SAGE will be an advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for full sets of Accounts
• Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements
• Prepare financial statements, payments, AR billings, journals, monthly schedules, bank statement reconciliations, staff reimbursements, GST submission etc.
• Prepare management reports i.e. project analytics, revenue, costs, cash flows, AP, AR, Related Party Transactions reconciliation for group reporting & etc.

• Assist in banking matters, account opening, LC, insurance bond & etc.
• Assist in corporate secretarial activities
• Coordination for physical inventory and fixed assets count on an ad-hoc basis

Requirements

• Accounting Degree, Partial ACCA or other relevant qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in handling full set of accounts with reputable companies
• Proficient in MS Excel, Words, PowerPoint & etc
• Good communication, organization and administration skills
• Hand-on experience in Navision accounting software is an advantage
• Experience in construction industry is an advantage

Financial Record Keeping: Manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring that all transactions are correctly documented. This includes overseeing accounts payable and receivable and maintaining the general ledger.

Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in a timely manner. Ensure these reports are accurate and comply with relevant financial regulations.

Tax Compliance and Filing: Oversee the company’s tax planning and compliance. This includes preparing and filing GST returns, corporate income tax, and other relevant taxes in a timely manner.

Payroll Administration: Familiar with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in salaries, bonuses, deductions, and compliance with employment laws and tax regulations.

Audit Assistance: Provide support during internal and external audits, preparing necessary documents and implementing auditors' recommendations.

Financial Analysis: Analyse financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide management with reports that aid in decision-making.

Ad-hoc Financial Duties: Depending on the specific needs of the company, the role might include additional responsibilities such as supporting strategic planning, investment analysis, or any financial-related projects.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s Degree or Masters in Accounting or Finance

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) : Will be an added advantage
