Duties and responsibilities of the job

• Process accounts payable invoices matching and verifying with purchase orders, delivery Orders/goods receipts via Esker procurement system

• Ensure accounts payable invoices, petty cash and staff expenses claims are accurate and properly coded via Prosoft.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Generate billings, process credit notes and refunds;
• Handle customers' enquiries regarding billings;
• Year-end accruals and monthly revenue adjustments;
• Monitor collections of outstanding invoices;
• Ensure credit card receipts are successfully collected and correctly interfaced to the accounting system;
• Prepare monthly reconciliation reports;
• Back-up for collections and receipting.

Taxation duties:-

-Preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses.

-Staying up-to-date on changing tax regulations to ensure compliance with tax deadlines and requirements.

Requirements:-

* Relevant qualification in Accounting or a related field

* 1-3 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably within a small practice or accounting firm

* Proficient in the use of accounting software such as XERO or QuickBooks or UBS accounting

* Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills

* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
