Key Responsibilities:

· Handle full accounting operations (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, reconciliation) for the assigned countries region.

· Analyse accounts and perform reconciliation.

· Produce financial reports to ensure regulatory adherence.

· Coordinate and maintain billings and reports, verify all billings are complete and reconciled to the general ledger.

· Submit periodic financial documents required by the Management.

· Handle month-end closing process, and make correction journal entries for account discrepancies, prepare closing journal entries, post accrual entries, and prepare financial statements.

· Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.

· Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements.

· Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities.

· Prepare inter-company billings

· Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines.

· Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax, and government authorities where required.

· Ensure adherence to all financial and tax reporting obligations, including GST, WHT, CIT, etc., audits and procedures, and forms both statutory and internal.

· Identify areas for improvement and implement to enhance financial processes.

· Assist in new processes and system implementation when required.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

· Perform and participate on other ad-hoc tasks assigned

Qualifications:

· Diploma/ Degree holder in Accountancy, Financial Accounting, Business or its equivalent

· Min 3 years of post- qualifying work experience in finance, accounting, or a related role;

· Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting standards.

· Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel

· Can start work within short notice

Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Private Education
• Working Location: Redhill (Near MRT station)
• Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday, 9.00 AM – 6.00PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $3,700
• Duration: Contract (6 months) - cover staff on maternity leave

Accounting and Financial Management

• Maintain the full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping activities for sales, purchases, receivables, and payables.
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings, CPF submissions, and other tax compliances.
• Manage month-end and year-end closings, including the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, bank reconciliations, and audit schedules.
• Update cash flow reports and prepare journal entries for month-end closings.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and manage fixed asset records.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders to ensure statutory compliance.

Fee Protection Scheme and Compliance

• Manage the implementation and monitoring of the Fee Protection Scheme in line with regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with the corporate secretary on statutory submissions, including resolution preparation, ACRA filings, and maintenance of corporate registers.
• Ensure proper accounting records are maintained and that financial policies and procedures are adhered to.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Assist in quarterly budgeting and forecasting exercises.
• Prepare and review financial reports to support informed decision-making.

Administrative and Operational Support

• Administer payroll processing, CPF submissions, and staff benefits.
• Process invoices for payment and refunds to customers, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Support operational administrative tasks such as providing bank statements and processing financial documents.
• Assist in purchasing, report typing, invoicing, and other admin-related activities.
• Register trainees in the TPGateway system.

Ad-Hoc Duties and Collaboration

• Support and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to maintain compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy or any relevant qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in MYOB, ABSS, or similar accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Prior experience with EduTrust Private Education Institutions (PEIs) or SSG Registered Training Providers is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable including maintaining fixed assets register.
• Perform monthly closing activities for FI and CO.
• Prepare monthly management reports.
• Coordinate annual physical stock take and prepare reconciliation.
• Monitor and plan for day-to-day operating cashflow.
• Process suppliers’ invoice and staff claim.
• Prepare monthly report.
• Prepare and submit GST to the government authorities.
• Prepare audit schedules.
• Liaise with tax agent for annual tax filing.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisors such as filing with government agencies.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification with minimum 2 years relevant working experience

Working Location: Changi Business Park

Responsibilities

1) Preparation of customer creation, customer invoices and ad-hoc receipts in Workday

2) Follow-up on invoice rejections

3) Assist in queries from clients

4) Assist Team Leads in preparation of journal entries, audit schedules, and month-end/year-end closing matters

5) Preparation of reports, reconciliations and follow ups on unreconciled items

6) Any other Adhoc duties assigned

Requirements

1) LCCI higher accounting / CAT/ Diploma in Accountancy

2) 1/2 years working experience in Finance & Accounts (preferably Accounts Receivable)

3) Good working knowledge on Microsoft Office including intermediate level for Excel

4) Prior experience with Workday and/or SAP systems is an added advantage

5) Prior experience with working with government agencies is an added advantage

6) Good written and communication skills

7) Able to multi task and is Tech Savvy

8) Quick learner and a team player

9) Meticulous in record keeping

10) Able to work independently

11) Resilience to withstand pressure from clients

12) Able to multi-task and manage the workload during peak periods and work closely with the team as backup resources for timely delivery of services
